This template displays the text of a single quotation by page name.  The citation is available with [[Template:QuoteCite]].

The text is displayed using [[Template:Quote.Text.dpl]].  If the page did not use [[Template:Quote]] then [[Template:Quote.Text.dpl.default]] produces the error message.  

[[Template:QuoteText]] should have no side-effects because it performs no actual transclusions: all the information is from metadata.
